What you need to know about newborn photography
The best time for newborn photography is in the first 7-10 days. During their first week or so, babies are usually sleepy and don't mind being molded into cute poses. In saying that, it can still be done with slightly older newborns, so don't think you missed your chance if your baby is a bit older.
Don't worry if your baby has little blemishes on his or her skin. We will remove the blemishes in the post-production stage.
How to prepare for your newborn photo shoot?
We will give you more tips and tricks on how to prepare for your shoot at the time of booking, but the main three things are:
- In-home or on location (Travel within urban Lower and Upper Hutt is included in the price, but we are happy to travel to other areas (travel charges may apply outside urban Hutt Valley))
- At least 25 fully edited images
- At least 6 months of access to a password-protected online gallery, as well as printing and online sharing rights. The online gallery will allow you to download and share to any social media site all of your images in high resolution.

- Make sure the room is warm enough for the baby
